 Fanta Celah's 'Ethiopian landscape' collection, is comprised of breathe-taking depictions of mountainous landscapes from the Holy Land. In 2013, Fanta had the pleasure of taking two trips to Ethiopia, and in turn, took thousands of photos as she traveled cross country. We flew to Gondar, from Addis Ababa, to see some castles from the older kingdoms. Then we drove 8 hours, spiraling up mountains and viewing the most majestic terrain, 16,000 ft above sea level. Finally reaching Bahir Dar, we realized that our true destination, the Blue Nile, was another few hours away. So we settled for the view of Lake Tana, spent a few hours painting, got a massage, then turned right back around (back to Gondar.) This experience made me realize that sometimes the journey, is true destination. I ended up with a treasure chest of photographs (from our JOURNEY!) So savor every moment of your journey, and live life to the fullest! 

Ms. Celah expoundes on her mission to maintain respect for the earths natural resources, through her Eco Art. In the creation process, she utilizes mesh from lemon 'bags,' old phone chargers, recycled metal, etc. Its better for it to end up in her art, instead of a landfill! Plus they are great conversation pieces!
