This is a self portrait, created in the 'timelines' stlye, but she used an african fabric collage, instead of photos. The background , in the original, is a 3-d white motif, with cowrie shells.
Interpretation: Once you research your history and truly find yourself, you start to blossom in your own unique way. And when you adorn yourself with traditional attire, your innate regal nature, shines through.
